Creare un racconto visivo coerente con l’identità della manifestazione, unendo lo sport ed il paesaggio in un linguaggio grafico univoco, armonizzando lo stile 3d in low poly con il paesaggio realistico.
Every great film has an essence — a mood, an image, a feeling that stays with you. Movie Time was a weekly segment on Fine Living dedicated to film trailers, and it needed an opening and closing sequence that could travel across very different cinematic universes while keeping a single, recognisable visual identity.
The brief was deceptively simple: create a graphic system that could represent iconic films — from E.T. to Titanic, from 007 to Sex & The City — in a coherent, modern style. The real challenge was finding a visual language flexible enough to work across wildly different genres and moods, without losing its own identity in the process.

The solution was flat design — clean shapes, solid fills, no gradients or photographic elements. Starting from the list of films to feature, I illustrated each one frame by frame in a flat graphic style, distilling every story down to its most iconic visual moment.
The illustrations were then animated with fluid, continuous transitions — guiding the viewer from one cinematic world to the next without ever losing the thread. The result is a sequence that feels like a tribute: instantly recognisable to any film lover, and unmistakably coherent as a broadcast graphic package.
